Job Description


My client is a renowned healthcare company looking for a Research Coordinator.

  • Diploma or degree in healthcare, science, social sciences or research is preferred.
  • 5 Days office Hour
  • North or North East area
JOB PURPOSE
1. To provide administrative and operational support to all activities related to the Principal Investigator (PI) research projects.
2. To work with respective team members to ensure that the work is proceeding well and on time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To support development of high-quality research reports and/or publications as required by the funding body and/or for journal publication
2. To support grant applications for relevant research
3. To lead activities designed to develop collaborative research with external partners, colleagues and/or support staff
4. To supervise and guide interns or students
5. To support relevant meetings, working with PIs and Co-Investigators
6. To ensure that responsibilities identified within internal processes as research ethics procedures and health & safety guidelines are met by all research team members
7. To take responsibility for resolving problems affecting the delivery of research projects and planning future research projects that may result from current project
8. Administering of Questionnaires to patients/caregivers/healthcare professionals
9. Conducting interviews and focus group discussions with patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals
10. Perform basic screening and assessments to track improvement of patients\' condition

11. Assist PI in the submission of DSRB applications, grant applications, progress reports to funding agencies and DSRB and ensure the timelines are maintained.
12. Liaise with the necessary parties for archiving of study documents throughout the course of the study while maintaining the site investigator file.

General
1. Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor / Manager / Head of Department.

REQUIREMENTS
Education
1. Relevant diploma or degree in healthcare, science, social sciences or research.

Experience
1. Proficient in MS office applications and project management software
2. Able to speak in Mandarin to liaise with Chinese Counterpart
3. Have a working knowledge of Good Clinical Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices, Clinical research, Clinical trial process and related regulatory requirements and terminology
4. Medical and Research Ethics
5. Communication skills
6. Problem-solving skills
7. Excellent in organizational and time management skills
