• 
  Our Client is involved with the maintenance and repair of vertical and horizontal transport. The role of a Research & Development Engineer is to be responsible for carrying out the general duties of the design functions. and to ensure compliance with environmental policy, reduction of waste, and prevention of pollution. You will be reporting to Research & Development Manager.
  
  \xe3\x80\x90 What you will be doing \xe3\x80\x91
  
  • Ensure that all design aspects take into consideration of Cost-effectiveness
  • Assist in verifying and reviewing technical aspects of Design development design
  • Assist in attending to enquires/ site visits/requests from other departments or overseas agents (Guided by seniors)
  • Ensure that all safety aspects of design are reviewed
  • Assist in planning and scheduling for D&D/Vec projects (Guided by seniors)
  • Design and generate drawings of the company-related products
  • Preparation of design drawings and documents
  • Review and monitor D&D/ Vec plan status being assigned to
  • Assist in making development/Vec project costing (Guided by assistant engineer and above)
  • Educate assistant officer on various aspects of equipment design/parts
  • Ensure ISO procedures are followed and maintained in accordance with Company\'s workflow

  • Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Candidates with no working experience welcome to apply
  • Previous engineering experience in working with global teams leading R&D projects is an advantage
  • Proficiency in writing engineering/test reports to convey testing methods and conclusions.
  • Solid understanding of the design of experiments (DoE), Root cause analysis & problem-solving experience.
  • Experience in developing testing programs to meet customer or industry specifications.
  • Proficiency in using 2D and 3D CAD packages i.e. SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor or others.

  8:30 ~ 17:45
