Process video feeds captured by drones flying at the OCBC Aquatic Center.
Perform background subtraction on the videos to remove the pool and other unnecessary details.
Segment the swimmers into specific body limbs.
Analyze the limbs to extract performance metrics of value to the swimming coaches.
Create visualisations of the metrics for review by the coaches.
Work with the drone operators to create a real-time feed where the videos are processed in real-time to generate analytics that can be viewed by the coaches during training.
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor\'s/Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning.
Minimum 2 years of relevant research experience in video analytics.
Demonstrated experience and know-how on video analytics.
Experience with at least one programming software/languages, such as python and java is preferred.
Excellent working knowledge of the various python video analytics toolkits.
Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills.
Applicants with research publications in the video analytics area will be advantageous.
Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members.
