Job Description
:
- Process video feeds captured by drones flying at the OCBC Aquatic Center.
- Perform background subtraction on the videos to remove the pool and other unnecessary details.
- Segment the swimmers into specific body limbs.
- Analyze the limbs to extract performance metrics of value to the swimming coaches.
- Create visualisations of the metrics for review by the coaches.
- Work with the drone operators to create a real-time feed where the videos are processed in real-time to generate analytics that can be viewed by the coaches during training.
- Minimum Bachelor\'s/Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant research experience in video analytics.
- Demonstrated experience and know-how on video analytics.
- Experience with at least one programming software/languages, such as python and java is preferred.
- Excellent working knowledge of the various python video analytics toolkits.
- Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills.
- Applicants with research publications in the video analytics area will be advantageous.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members.
