Job Description
:
The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on VMCare-As-A-Service: To Enable Cross-VM Introspection and Operation in the Cloud. Successful candidate will be part of an active research team led by Prof DING Xuhua from School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University. Candidate's core responsibilities are:
- Participate in implementing the VaaS framework
- Study and migrate existing vulnerability patching techniques to the VaaS setting designed in this project
- Design and implement software runtime repairing techniques under the VaaS setting
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning
- Proficiency in C/C++ is required
- Familiar with computer architecture. Understanding of Intel hardware virtualization is a plus
- Demonstrated experience and know-how on Linux kernel and symbolic execution
- Excellent working knowledge of binary execution
- Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills
- Applicants with research publications in system and software security areas will be advantageous
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
