Research Engineer I (game Design/vr Programming)
Job Description
The Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI) is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Engineer to design and develop an immersive VR experience for promoting mutual understanding and fostering social cohesion between in/outgroups.
Key Responsibilities
Design and create an immersive VR experience (IVE) and 3D environments
Develop gamified interactive experience for user studies
Suggest potential improvement of features to make IVE more engaging, interactive and immersive
Collaborate with other researchers in a multidisciplinary team who will provide academic input
Key Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent field from reputable universities
Basic understanding of 3D model asset management
Previous experiences in VR/AR content development and/or specific understanding of VR/AR
Experience in developing using Unity or similar game engines
Writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
Candidates with at least 2 years experience in similar role
