The Alibaba-NTU Global e-Sustainability CorpLab (ANGEL) represents a key collaboration between Alibaba Group and Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Its holistic approach will help to secure a brighter, more sustainable future for humanityANGEL is looking for a motivated Research Engineer to develop PrimeNet.Key Responsibilities:Conducting cutting-edge research to develop new algorithmsExploring existing literature and staying up to date with advancements in the fieldDesigning experiments to test hypotheses and validate modelsTranslating research concepts into working prototypesDeveloping software, algorithms, or hardware systems for real-world applicationsWriting clean, efficient, and scalable Python codeCollecting, preprocessing, and analyzing large datasetsJob Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.Demonstrated experience in natural language processing, machine learning, and deep learning.Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.Ability to analyze complex problems, identify patterns, and derive meaningful insights from data.Proficiency in Python for implementing NLP and Generative AI algorithms.Understanding of NLP concepts, machine learning algorithms, and their applications in text processing and generation.Capacity to address research challenges creatively and develop innovative solutions.Effective written and verbal communication skills for documenting research findings and presenting them to diverse audiences.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
