A Research Engineer I position is available in the Centre for Micro- & Nano-Electronics, School of School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Job Des A Research Engineer I position is available in the Centre for Micro- & Nano-Electronics, School of School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. : The Research Engineer will work on a project to conduct the R&D of GaN-based transistors (e.g. HEMT and MISHEMT etc.) suitable for high frequency ( 100GHz) applications. The roles of this position include: Develop fabrication process modules (e.g. ohmic, gate, interconnects etc) in wafer fabrication facility Fabrication, characterization and analysis of GaN-based transistors Assist in project management, project proposal drafting, project report drafting, slide preparation and publishing conference/journal papers Student project supervision (including JC and Poly students, IA Students, Final Year Project Students) Job Requirements: Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field Hands-on experience with semiconductor device processing in cleanroom and characterization tools.
