The Alibaba-NTU Global e-Sustainability CorpLab (ANGEL) represents a key collaboration between Alibaba Group and Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Supported by the Singapore RIE2025 Fund, ANGEL creates and deploys impactful green digital technologies for global sustainability.

ANGEL is looking for a Research Engineer to support research work under the project "Sustainable Living".
:Collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and team members to design and implement green recommendation systems. Collect, clean, and preprocess multimodal datasets (e.g., textual, behavioral, and sustainability-related data) for downstream modeling and analysis. Develop and implement efficient data processing workflows for user modeling, preference understanding, and sustainability behavior analysis.

Job Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science/engineering. Solid experience in large-scale data processing, cleaning, and transformation Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), LLMs, or recommendation systems is a strong plus. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude toward solving complex data challenges. Prior research experience in data-driven AI or recommendation systems is preferred.
