Successful candidate will be working with a team of research scientists, research engineers, and metrologists to develop new measurement technologies in support a competent and internationally recognized national measurement infrastructure for Singapore in the areas of low carbon fuels and emission measurement.
Responsibilities
In charge of coding and deployment of a data-driven calibration method developed by the team for sensing quality assurance of gas sensor networks.
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of an ammonia gas sensor characterisation system. Ensure the systems meet regulatory and safety requirements and conduct thorough testing of the system.
Conduct gas sensor characterisation experiments and analyze the data to identify areas for optimization and implement improvements.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot experimental issues and propose innovative solutions.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and research findings related to low-carbon fuel and emission measurements. Assist in literature reviews.
Create detailed documentation for the developed measurement and calibration systems, including specifications, operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Maintain accurate records of experiments, test results, and system modifications and assist in the preparation of reports and presentations.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to leverage expertise and ensure successful implementation of project deliverables on time.
Actively look out for ways to improve laboratory operation through automation and digitalisation.
