An exciting Research Engineer job has become available at a leading AI firm.
About the Research Engineer Role:
You will act as a subject matter expert in applying machine and deep-learning techniques to improve computer vision algorithms and supporting research development of new product verticals
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply machine and deep-learning techniques in computer vision algorithms
- Analyse consumer experiences and apply computer vision solutions
- Conduct research in computer vision and image processing technology
- Craft integrated technological solutions towards existing/new product verticals
- Work closely with other engineering teams in code review, optimisation, and maintaining computer vision development infrastructure
- Drive technical route map for short- and long-term goals
Key Requirements:
- Master\'s degree or above in a technical subject (Computer Vision, Machine learning, Math, Statistics or similar) or equivalent experience
- Experience in machine learning, statistical modelling, and computer vision technologies
- Experience in semiconductors, image processing, and sensory is preferred
- Experience working with C/C++ and any of the scripting languages, Shell, Python, MATLAB
- Knowledge of parallel computing, CUDA, GPGPU, OpenCL
- Experience with Caffe, PyTorch, TensorFlow or related deep learning frameworks
