Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and evaluate advanced polymeric materials for energy-related applications, such as fusion, fission, hydrogen storage, and other extreme environment systems.

Conduct research on materials for harsh and extreme environments, optimizing their properties for improved performance, durability, and reliability in energy systems.

Perform materials synthesis, processing, and characterization using advanced analytical techniques to investigate mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties.

Document research findings, prepare technical reports, and contribute to publications and intellectual property.

Job Requirements:

BSc in Materials Science, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Hands-on experience, preferably, with materials characterization techniques such as thermal analysis, spectroscopy, electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction, and mechanical testing.

Experience in polymer compounding is preferred.

Background in future energy technologies, such as nuclear, is preferred.

Ability to work independently with a proactive and results-driven mindset.

Strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary research environment.

Fast and independent learner, with the ability to adapt to new research challenges and methodologies.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in scientific writing and reporting.
