Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented researcher to strengthen the research activities at the Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP), a centre of excellence in additive manufacturing, funded by the National Research Foundation (NRF), Singapore, and supported by Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the Economic Development Board (EDB) and Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct research on the use of additive manufacturing for the fabrication of bioelectronics and biosensors for disease detection and tissue engineering applications

Design relevant biosensors and bioelectronics, develop suitable material formulations, optimize printing conditions and validate printed devices

Support final year project students, MSc and PhD students in their research activities

Help the principal investigator in management of the laboratory and research activities

Elaborate high quality research papers

Identify, plan, and prepare new research proposals

Job Requirements:

PhD in Mechanical Engineering

At least 2-year work experiences in the area of 3D Printing

Expertise in material characterisation techniques

Knowledge in biosensing and design for 3D printable electronics

Knowledge and experience in the field of 3D printing for tissue engineering applications

Strong publication track record

Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language is mandatory
