Job Description
A 7-month Research Fellow position is available in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.
:
-
Conduct laboratory tests on ground improvement -
Write project reports and scientific papers -
Assist the PI in writing research proposals and supervising students
Job Requirements:
-
PhD degree in Civil Engineering from reputable universities/institutions -
Research experience in treatment of wastes for civil engineering application -
Strong publication record in reputable journals (published more than 4 journal papers) -
Experienced in fundamental geotechnical tests, leaching tests, and materials micro-structural analysis (e.g. XRD, SEM, MIP, TGA, and FTIR) -
Good English writing and communication skills -
Experience in supervising research students and writing research proposals -
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiatives
