Job Description
The Singtel Cognitive and Artificial Intelligence Lab for Enterprises (SCALE@NTU) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.
The main tasks of this position is to analyze spatiotemporal data from public datasets/stakeholders and make predictions using deep learning models.
Key Responsibilities:
- The candidate needs to collect relevant dataset, and conduct experiments to gain insights on project-related research questions
- Design proper metrics to evaluate the performance of machine learning models
- The candidate will deploy the proposed methodology/framework in a machine learning model in the project
- Presenting research results to collaborators from the company, at scientific meetings or producing reports/ publications
- Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or other quantitative disciplines from a reputable university
- Working experience on spatiotemporal data mining
- High proficiency in advanced programming skills (e.g., Python, C/C++) and AI frameworks (e.g., Pytorch)
- Self-driven, highly motivated, with interest to work with other researchers and scientists (team player) to produce high-quality research
