Job Description
A Research Fellow position is currently available in the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute.Key Responsibilities:Undertake full research work and administrative duties during the term of employmentBe responsible for the development and implementation of machine learning algorithms for image processing and other data analysis tasksDevelop and implement the algorithms for image processing of feed waste materialWork synergistically with PI and research staff in data acquisition, data management and data analyticsSupport the publishing of high-quality research papers with research outcomes in top-tier international journals and conferences.Job Requirements:PhD in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science or related fieldStrong experience in image processing, computer vision, and machine learning algorithmsProficiency in programming such as PythonFamiliarity with bio-waste materials and waste treatment process will be an advantageStrong organizational skills, good communication skills & able to work in a multi-disciplinary teamThis is a contract-based project for 6 months, and may be considered to extend based on the performance and successful project extension.We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
