The School of Materials Science & Engineering (MSE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. Join Prof. Liu Zheng\'s esteemed research group to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) for innovating in materials science, specifically focusing on the design and discovery of novel HEAs/MFCs with enhanced functional properties.

Key Responsibilities:

As a research fellow specializing in HEAs/MFCs, you will play a key role in our AI-driven research initiative. Your main responsibilities will include:

Establishing a comprehensive database of HEAs/MFCs for analysis and reference.

Collaborating with AI scientists to provide domain insights that aid in the development of AI models.

Performing experimental verifications of materials recommended by AI models.

Publishing research articles in high-impact journals to disseminate study findings.

Providing regular updates and reports.

Performing other duties as assigned by the principal investigator

Job Requirements:

Ph.D. degree in Materials Science from a well-established university/institute.

Outstanding research/publication track record.

Strong background in the development of HEAs/MFCs, including design, fabrication and characterization.

Experience or interest in conducting interdisciplinary research, particularly in the intersection of machine learning and materials informatics.

Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team as well as independently.

Excellent communication skills in written and oral English.
