VFlowTech (VFT) is reinventing energy storage with Vanadium redox flow technology, with a vision to develop the cheapest and most scalable Vanadium redox flow batteries in the world. VFT solution is proven to be one of the safest, most durable and environmentally friendly battery technologies.

VFT is a spin-off of the CleanTech lab of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and benefits from unique IP arising from many years of intensive research at NTU. VFT founders and management team have deep experience in the renewable space, and Vanadium redox flow technology.

We are offering Research Fellow position in Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries at School of Chemistry, Monash University, Australia!

Carry out the main work on the in-depth analysis of vanadium electrolytes, comprehensive characterisation of electrode materials and pilot VRFB systems

Conduct the research under limited supervision either as a member of a team or, where appropriate, independently and the production or contribution to the production of conference and seminar papers and publications from that research

Advice within the field of the staff member\xe2\x80\x99s research to postgraduate students

Involvement in professional activities including, subject to availability of funds, attendance at conferences and seminars in the field of expertise

Qualifications

A PhD in Chemistry/Materials Science or a related discipline from a recognised university

A track record of quality refereed research publications

Experience in applied electrochemistry with flow battery experience

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience in supervising and working with major honours or postgraduate students within the discipline

High level organisational skills, with demonstrated capacity to establish and achieve goals on time

Well-developed computer literacy with the desirable skill set
