Research Fellow (mechanical Metamaterials)
Job Description
The School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) is seeking a Research Fellow passionate about mechanical metamaterials for robotic applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, fabrication, and mechanics study of mechanical metamaterials
Develop robotic materials with sensing, computation, and actuation control
Study encoding and storage of information in mechanical metamaterials
Job Requirements:
PhD Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation, or related field
Good GPA in Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s and PhD Degree
At least 4-year research experience in related area
Expertise in metamaterial design and manufacturing, multi-material 3D printing, finite element analysis, vibration tests
Proficiency in English and publication in related areas
