Job Description
The School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with other researchers (including PhD students and research staff) to conduct research on the structure-property relationship of additively manufactured (AM) alloys.Perform crystal plasticity modeling of the constitutive behavior of AM alloysConduct modelling of fracture resistance of AM alloys.Develop machine learning models for high-throughput evaluation of mechanical properties.Deliver project millstones timely and present the work on internal and external conferences.Publish research results in reputable international journals.Job RequirementsPhD degree in solid mechanics, mechanics of materials, or related fields.Rich experience in theoretical and computational mechanics.In-depth knowledge in additive manufacturing.Good communication and writing in English as required in research workStrong responsibility for research work.Good publication record.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTU
