The National Institute of Education invites suitable applications for the position of Research Fellow on a 8-month contract at the
Project Title: Adoption of Integrated Resources to Shape Integrated Learning Experiences: Insights from Implementation of 2023 Primary Science Syllabus [OER 33/22 TAL]
Project Introduction: This project focusses on understanding the adoption patterns of teachers and students pertaining to the 2023 primary science syllabus. Through interviews, classroom observations, video analysis and questionnaires, this project aims to develop insights of how teachers and students make use of the integrated suite of resources to support primary science learning.
Requirements:
Essential

• PhD in education-related fields
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Proficient with descriptive and inferential statistics
• Good analytical and critical thinking skills
• Good organizational skills, shows initiative to plan and anticipate work needed to be done
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative research analysis and literature review
• Experience with writing academic papers
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision within tight deadlines

Preferred

• Possess previous research and/or working experience in education contexts
