Research Fellow (network Data Driven Transportation)

Job Description
We are looking for a Research Fellow who will be responsible for designing and implementing intelligent transportation systems technologies and protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop smart lamp post technologies for intersections and public transport;
- Deployment of technologies in the field;
- Perform analysis and simulations to validate designs;
- Editing and preparation of manuscripts, reports and presentations;
- Participate in presentations and demos for exhibiting work at appropriate events;
- PhD in Civil Engineering (major in transportation), Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science;
- Programming experience and knowledge of machine learning would be a plus;
- Possesses research background with ability to read and understand methodologies in research papers;
- Willingness to work with systems hardware and deployment in the field
- Strong written and spoken communications
- Good team-player
- Open to fixed-term contract
