The World Economic Forum (the Forum) is an International Organisation for Public-Private Cooperation, engaging global leaders to shape major agendas across sectors. Its Centre for Health and Healthcare focuses on enhancing healthcare systems by scaling solutions for resilience, efficiency, and equity through diverse stakeholder engagement.The Centre has launched the \xe2\x80\x9cDigital Healthcare Transformation (DHT) Initiative,\xe2\x80\x9d a multi-year program to boost public-private partnerships in digital health, data, and AI. This initiative complements the Global Health Equity Network (GHEN), which promotes health equity and patient-centred system transformation.Singapore, a leader in healthcare delivery and equity due to its investment in digital health, will be highlighted as a World Economic Forum Centre for Health and a Healthcare Country Lighthouse. This collaboration aims to showcase Singapore\'s healthcare success globally and identify opportunities for Public-Private Partnerships to advance health equity through digital transformation.The Fellowship role will manage projects and provide expertise on Health Equity, access to care, and social determinants of health. The Fellow will support the Forum\'s work in developing Singapore as a Country Lighthouse, conduct research on its health system transformation, and share insights on health equity. They will also coordinate with regional working groups and engage with local and global partners, including the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) Network and the Accelerators Network, and contribute to the Forum\'s Health Equity strategy and broader global efforts.The Health Equity effort in Singapore as well as the proposed pilot place-based change programme(s) will link to a broader global Global Health Equity strategy and pre-existing place-based change work (launching by the GHEN in 2024). This will provide existing best practice and networks that can be adapted to the new regional efforts in ASEAN.This role is based in Singapore and hosted within the NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. The Fellow will be involved in projects from the Forum\'s Centre for Health and Healthcare. The Fellow will report directly to the NUS Principal Investigator, as well as to the Forum\'s Lead for Health Equity.The fellowship is for 3 years (or until January 2028, whichever comes first, if applicable). Initially, a 1-year contract will be offered, renewable based on performance.Main responsibilities-Research and draft a White Paper on Singapore\'s health system transformation journey, including leading interviews with key Health Equity stakeholders and identifying future opportunities for collaboration.-Develop and execute a dissemination plan for key learnings from the paper, including public engagement opportunities and convening interested stakeholders to share best practice.-Support the broader GHEN team to incubate and manage a regional public-private working group focused on specific Health Equity gaps and opportunities identified in the research, to support the building on existing Singapore-led work in Southeast Asia to scale regional health equity development and innovation; and incorporating key topics in health equity such as access, trust, and impact measurement.-Contribute to the Forum\'s broader global Health Equity strategy with Singapore-based insights and case studies - linking also to the Digital Healthcare Transformation Initiative in partnership with the Digital Healthcare Transformation Fellow.-Drive partner engagement opportunities in Singapore with all relevant stakeholder groups across sectors.QualificationsPreferred requirements and experience
