The Decarbonisation Programme "Singapore Max-Planck Alliance for the Sustainable Conversion of Biomass" is looking for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Design of Flow Chemistry Protocols.
Key Responsibilities:Validation and optimization of existing batch procedures with automation in mind
Optimization of procedures with automation in mind
Translation of batch to flow procedure
Optimization of developed flow process
Maintenance of lab or equipment or supplies that include procurement and liaison with suppliers
Assist or produce high quality reports and documents that consolidate research findings
Contribute to the mentoring and guidance of junior researchers and students, fostering an environment of learning and innovation within the project team.
Job Requirements:Doctoral degree in Chemistry or a related field
Creative thinking and problem solving
Experience in working with biomass
Experience in heterogeneous catalysis
Expertise in the analysis and characterization of heterogeneous catalysts
Experience in organic chemistry lab work
Solid background in organic chemistry
Capable of conducting independent research while effectively collaborating in a multidisciplinary environment.
