Job Description

A Research Fellow position is open in the Quantum Communications Laboratory, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS).The Research Fellow will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and with other group members on one or more research projects related to quantum information processing and quantum communication.The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting theoretical analysis of quantum protocols.
- Modelling, simulating, and optimizing quantum protocols.
- Collaborating with experimentalists on the implementation of quantum protocols.
- Advancing knowledge in the field and publishing in leading journals and conferences.
- Preparing for and meeting project deliverables and milestones.
- Assisting in the supervision of junior PhD students.Qualifications- PhD in Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Strong background in Bell nonlocality and quantum communication.
- Solid programming skills with experience in MATLAB/Python.
- Prior project related experience.
- Strong organization, writing and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work both as a team player and independently.
- Experience in world-class research environments is highly valued.
- Strong publication record in leading journals and conferences is highly valued.
