Project Title: The NIE NTU A*STAR Partnership Project
Project Introduction:
The NIE, NTU (School of Computer Science and Engineering) and A*STAR partnership was launched on 1 September 2022. NIE is leading the existing project and will participate in research project management and submissions of joint research grants.
Pivoting the strategic plan for Science of Learning to deepen research partnerships towards the classroom of the future, the NIE NTU A*STAR Partnership builds research capacity by creating opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and skills development.
Requirements
At least a PhD in social sciences, psychology, computer science, neurological science or equivalent from a reputable university Strong background in programming using, but not limited to, Python, R and/or Matlab Experience and interest in Science of Learning in Education and use technology to improve the science of learning in education. Background in signal process of neuroimaging (e.g. EEG, fNIRS, MRI) and/or physiological (e.g. Heartrate, BP, GSR, physical activity monitoring) data.
Responsibilities
Operationalise Science of Learning in Education Centre facilities in the lab and classroom Assist in the preparation of equipment for research and data collection Contribute and collaborate in research projects including programming Management and support in the utilization of Science of Learning sensors and equipment
