A Research Fellow position is available in the research group of Professor Ho Ghim Wei at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS).
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Develop sustainable ionic thermoelectric material design; Electrolyte engineering; Flexible electronic device; Energy storage and conversion.
- Investigate and optimize the electrical, mechanical, thermal, biochemical properties of hydrogels.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including materials scientists, biochemical scientists, and electronic engineers.
- Publish journal papers and meet grant deliverables.
- Perform routine laboratory duties.
- Assist with other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by their immediate supervisor.
- Possess a PhD Degree in advanced functional materials and devices.
- Hands-on experience with material synthesis, advanced characterization tools, and laboratory instruments.
- A track record of publishing in high-impact journals related to materials science, ionic thermoelectric material design; Electrolyte engineering; flexible electronic device; electronic engineering, or related fields.
