Research Intern (microbiology)

Job Description
BIOPSIN is a microbial safety company which aims at developing rapid pathogen detection systems. We are inviting motivated individuals to apply for the position of full-time Research Intern. Selected applicants will have the opportunity to work closely with our team to conduct experiments in the field of microbial safety. They will gain hands on experience in various laboratory techniques related to bacterial culture and diagnostics.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Food Science, Environmental Engineering or any other relevant discipline.
- Prior experience in bacterial culture/Sample Handling/Fluorescence Microscopy/PCR is a plus. Training will be provided for the missing skills.
- Problem solving ability and attention to detail.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
To be successful as an intern, you should be willing to help with the tasks assigned by your supervisor. Your main responsibilities include conducting scientific experiments, capturing and analyzing data and presenting them during group meetings.
