Universal Health (UH) is a Singapore-based digital health organisation working to improve access to mental health support through applied research and real-world healthcare partnerships.
Our work is grounded in a simple goal: to make mental health care preventative and accessible beyond the clinic. We collaborate with clinicians, healthcare institutions, and researchers to run field-based studies that focus on mental health, physical wellbeing, and everyday behaviour. These studies directly inform practical tools, public education, and interventions aimed at supporting individuals who may otherwise fall through gaps in the healthcare system.
Universal Health is looking for a Research Intern to support ongoing mental health studies and to help translate research findings into accessible public-facing content.
This role is both field-based and communication-facing. It involves direct interaction with study participants in clinical settings, as well as working with the team to turn mental health and healthcare research into clear, easy-to-understand social media graphics and educational materials. The intern may also provide occasional support at company events or office sessions in Novena.
This role is well suited for students or early-career candidates who are motivated by social impact, interested in healthcare research and mental health, and who care about making scientific knowledge understandable and useful to the public.
