The job responsibility includes:

• To independently undertake advanced research in the identification, prevention and management of physical and cognitive frailty, using or developing, the appropriate methods and/or techniques
• To produce high quality research reports and/or publications as required by the funding body and/or for journal publication
• Perform grant applications for relevant research, such as better care models for older people with cognitive impairment and frailty
• To lead activities designed to develop collaborative research with external partners, colleagues and/or support staff
• To actively develop external contacts and networks relevant for future collaborations and funding opportunities
• To supervise and guide junior researchers, interns
• To lead relevant meetings
• To ensure that responsibilities identified within internal processes as research ethics procedures and health & safety guidelines etc are met by all research team members
• To take responsibility for resolving problems affecting the delivery of research projects and planning future research projects that may result from current project
• To contribute to teaching activities as appropriate

The Requirements:

• Min Degree in healthcare
• On the job training will be provided for candidates with no working experiences
• Strong analytical skills with a strong organization skills
• Able to communicate effectively with either subjects or stakeholders
