The Research Officer will work with the PI to:
\xc2\xb7 Design and implement optical instrumentation for translational research, with a focus on fiber optics and minimally invasive microscopy
\xc2\xb7 Create miniaturized prototypes integrating optical, mechanical and electrical elements
- Write/maintain software for system control and data acquisition
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaborations and pre-clinical/clinical studies
- Write/maintain technical documentation
\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Science, Applied Physics or related fields
\xc2\xb7 Alternatively, degree in Biomedical Engineering with substantial experience in electrical/mechanical design and prototyping
\xc2\xb7 Familiarity (1+ years) in at least one of Python/C++/Matlab
\xc2\xb7 Experience (2+ years) in optical/electrical/mechanical instrumentation
\xc2\xb7 Strong interest in biomedical or clinical applications
