Job Description

Temasek Laboratories@NTU is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Scientist. The candidate will assist the Principal Investigator in the preparation and execution of project, including managing a cluster of projects involving various other faculty collaborators, focused on psychology and artificial intelligence. The person will also participate in planning, collecting, analyzing, and reporting on qualitative and quantitative data.

Job Responsibilities

Preparation of research proposal

Plan, collect, analyze, and report on qualitative and quantitative data

Manage a cluster of projects focused on psychology and artificial intelligence

Facilitate and document technical progress and discussions with Project PIs on a six-monthly basis and intermediate reviews on two-monthly basis

Monitor timely management of milestone completion, risks, budget and technical progress for projects in cluster and develop mitigation plan if necessary

Developing protocols to manage and audit mandated Project KPIs including publications

Help foster a collaborative and innovation-led environment within the Lab and implement technical communications for the program

Key contact for outreach, corporate communications, and technical communications for Program

Co-ordinate the signing of Corporate Lab legal documentation including Project Agreements, Non- Disclosure Agreements

Job Requirements

PhD degree qualification or equivalent advanced certification in Engineering, Behavioural Science, Life Science, or related field

Preparation of research proposal

Plan and coordinate preparatory work for data collection

Collect, record, and analyze data

Conduct data analysis on qualitative and quantitative data

Experience in managing and leading technical projects as a senior member of a technical or research team is an advantage

Advanced Technical competence in research project management

Good verbal and communication skills

Well organized, meticulous, and analytical
