What the role is:
The Centre of Science for Urban Nature (CSUN), a division of the National Parks Board (NParks), carries out application-focussed research in various aspects of urban greenery and ecology, including arboriculture, urban ecosystems, sustainable landscaping, greenery/conservation planning, and human-nature relationships. Our goal is to advance and apply knowledge in urban ecology and social ecology to enhance our tropical urban living environment. Under CSUN, a geospatial team will be established to support decision making in NParks' policy and operational work through advanced geospatial modelling.

As part of the geospatial modelling research team at CSUN, you will focus on scoping, conducting, and managing research projects pertaining, but not limited to, ecosystem services assessment, spatial ecology, and geospatial analytics applications for urban ecosystems and accessibility-based service level assessments.
