What the role is:As a Researcher, you play an integral role in the conceptualisation and execution of research studies and projects in areas related to public housing to support HDB\'s functions and missions. You will be working closely with a team of experienced Researchers from multi-disciplinary backgrounds to carry out these research projects.What you will be working on:You will be part of a team to work with various stakeholders to undertake the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 conceptualise research proposal and methodology, \xe2\x80\xa2 undertake primary and secondary data collection, \xe2\x80\xa2 perform data analytics, statistical modelling on a wide array of data related to various aspects of public housing, and \xe2\x80\xa2 provide useful insights and recommendations to enhance HDB\'s mission in providing affordable, quality housing and a conducive living environment for residents.What we are looking for:You should possess a relevant background in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Psychology, Sociology or equivalent technical field. You should also have the versatility and ability to conduct independent research and be able to contribute effectively as a team player. You should possess critical thinking skills, have strong writing skills and can effectively communicate complex data analysis in technical and non-technical ways. You should also have good interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with people at all levels. It would be an advantage if you possess relevant working experience or a strong knowledge in programming languages such as R, SAS, etc., data visualisation, statistical modelling, etc. Familiarity with data management, relational databases and SQL would also be considered.
