DESIGNATION : Resident Care Partner

RESPONSIBILITIES
A Resident Care Partner (RCP) is responsible for attending to residents’ psychosocial needs to improve quality of life.

• Participate in conducting daily engagement activities and exercises with the residents
• Build relationships and befriend our residents assigned
• Participate in therapeutic activities e.g gardening, dancing and craftwork
• Assists in carrying out various basic care activities for the resident such as meals preparations, dressing and grooming to maintain dignity.
• Perform basic vital signs monitoring
• Accompany residents with stable conditions for clinical appointments or transfers
• Ensure proper recording of daily activities

• Assume any other additional responsibilities as assigned

• Minimum Secondary education
• Prior experience is caregiving duties in nursing homes, hospitals, day care or as an individual to your own loved ones would be advantageous.
• Have a compassionate heart to serve the elderly
• Communicate effectively with a wide variety of people and cultures, maintaining a high level of quality service
• Self-motivated and willing to try new ideas to engage elderly in various activities
