We provide you the means and tools to work on a wide variety of interesting and challenging projects to grow your career and help protect this valuable resource.Our Water Business would like to hire a Resident Engineer Mechanical to oversee all Mechanical matters for the construction of the project. This position will work across all contracts to monitor, support, and guide the implementation of all mechanical works either designed by the Consultant or by the Contractors including the procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of all the mechanical-related works.Provide guidance to the Mechanical Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) and Resident Technical Officers (RTOs) responsible for specific CWRP contracts to maintain consistency across all the contracts and ensure that all works are following the specifications and applicable codes and regulations.The RE Mechanical will work closely with the Electrical and ICA REs within the project team as well as the discipline leads in Jacobs, The Client and with 3rd Parties and be able to effectively communicate and coordinate with all the parties. They shall also be able to provide clear direction and guidance to the Mechanical ARE and RTOs and act as a technical supervisor to assist them with technical support. The RE Mechanical will work closely with all other resident engineering teams, especially the resident ICA and Electrical teams on all coordination matters.Here\xe2\x80\x99s what you\xe2\x80\x99ll need:To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:

• Minimum Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a PEB-recognised university as he/she needs to be registered with IES.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in design and construction of large infrastructure projects in Singapore.
• Understanding of mechanical design and experience in the design and implementation of mechanical works including site testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Experience in generating/reviewing Design Calculations related to Mechanical Equipment and Accessories.
• Experience in PUB projects will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with BIM and 3D modeling
