Resident Engineer
Job Description
Bachelor's degree in C&S Engineering from a University recognized by the Professional Engineers Board.
Registered Resident Engineer (with BCA / IES / ACES) with a minimum of eight (8) years of work experience in residential/institutional development with strong knowledge of architectural, precast structures, structural steel, and local construction practices.
Work experience with basement construction, soil improvement works, and job sites in close proximity to MRT Rail Protection Zone and large waterbodies will be preferred.
Familiar with Singapore Building Control Act and Construction Regulations.
Strong knowledge of structural materials, details, shop drawings and local construction practices, and strong coordination skills among architect/C&S/M&E works.
Basic knowledge of Architectural and M&E details and construction works on site.
Must have a strong ability to interpret the drawings and contract documents on works to be carried out.
Good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office application.
