Job Description

To perform all roles and responsibilities required of site supervisors under the Building Control Act. To supervise the timely execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframe, all other contract documents and site instructions. To check mock-ups done on site, where necessary. To ensure that the required construction tests in connection with the construction works are carried out where necessary. To prepare defect lists, monitor progress of rectification works and ensure all defects are satisfactorily rectified. Write daily reports of works done by contractor and record daily manpower status on site. Inspect and maintain records of equipment/machinery/licensed machinery operator/permits (both statutory and aviation requirements). To ensure that the structural elements or critical works of the construction works are being carried out in accordance with the approved plans and with any terms and conditions imposed by the Commissioner of Building Control where necessary.



Requirement:





Diploma / ITC (Higher NITEC/NTC-2 NITEC) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the supervision of A&A, data hall fit-out works. Preferably registered as Resident Technical Officer with IES/ACES. Familiar with local codes & regulations. Proficient in MS Word, Excel for project update and reports. * Good communication and interpersonal skills.
