Job Description
We are looking for a Resident Technical Officer The successful candidate will be responsible for site supervision, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Assist and report to the Resident Engineer (RE) and Superintending Resident Engineer (SRE) on all site activities, incidents, and near-misses.
Report any non-compliance issues to the RE and Qualified Person Supervision (QPS).
Supervise and monitor works (replacement, extension, and reconfiguration) Associated civil and infrastructure works.
Prepare daily reports and submit them as required.
Ensure contractors and subcontractors comply with safety regulations and checklists.
Reject poor quality work and notify the RE for issuance of a non-conformance notice.
Maintain records and documentation for field / site changes and monitor adherence.
Conduct standing supervision for critical site activities.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and risk assessment policies.
Requirements:
Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
Familiar with drawings, safety requirements, and standards.
Strong understanding of site safety procedures and quality control.
Willing to work on rotation shifts and be stationed full-time on-site.
