Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Daily site supervision to ensure compliance with design intent, specifications and local regulatory requirements. Review and raise discrepancies in construction drawings/specifications to Superintending Officer. Monitor site conditions and highlight discrepancies between drawings and actual site situations before commencement of work. Conduct site inspections and witness testing and commissioning to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to performance standards. Prepare list of defects, monitor the progress of rectification works and ensure all the defects are satisfactorily rectified. Document and maintain all relevant site records, including inspection forms, test reports, and correspondence. Support in reviewing method statements and material submissions. Report incidents and non-compliance to the Superintending Officer. Ensure adherence to method statements, site safety regulations and MOM requirements. Participating in site meetings, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with project requirements.. Address site queries and resolve technical issues with the consultant team. Perform other duties as assigned by the Superior or Project Management team.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Valid Resident Technical Officer (RTO) accreditation with IES (Institution of Engineers Singapore). Shall have a certificate in Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BCSS) Course. Minimum 6 years of relevant engineering experience in sewerage industry, particularly in the supervision of pipe jacking or similar projects. Willingness to work on-site, including irregular hours and weekends if required. Strong knowledge of local sewerage codes and safety regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and BIM. Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
