Job description and responsibility:
The Resident Technical Officer represents clients on the construction site. Must be able to read and interpret drawings and details of projects. Ensure that construction projects follow contracts and regulations. Inspect materials and workmanship. Perform tests to check the quality of materials. Prepare progress reports for their clients.
Requirements:
Diploma / ITC (Higher NITEC/NTC-2 NITEC) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution. Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry(BCSS) Cert is required. Preferably registered as a Resident Technical Officer accredited by IES/ACES. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building services in the supervision of commercial/ institutional development with strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical services and local construction practices. Proficient in MS Word and Excel for project update and reports. Familiar with local codes & regulations. Good communication and interpersonal skills. * 12 Months Contract
