LOCATION
This position is located at our property Amanpulo in Pamalican Island, The Philippines.

POSITION OVERVIEW
To assist the resort doctor in all clinic consultations and procedures. Help the doctor examine and treat patients through tasks such as handing instruments/materials, and preparing equipment during procedures.


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and administer medications as directed by the doctor.
• Monitor vital signs and condition of admitted patients at the clinic.
• repare blood, tissue or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for transport to Manila for testing.
• Cleaning and dressing of simple wounds.
• Change dressing of wounds.
• Observe proper disposal of all clinic waste, especially used needles and other contaminated articles.
• Inventory all medicines and equipment at the clinic and submit the monthly inventory report to Accounting Department.
• Monitor stock levels of all medicines and supplies and make sure there is sufficient stock for the staff and guests depending on the occupancy of the hotel.
• Monitor expiry dates of medicines and supplies.
• Coordinate with Purchasing Department regarding procurement requests.
• Keep proper storage of medicines and medical supplies, especially with regard to temperature inside the clinic.
• Monitor the operation of all mechanical and electric powered machines at the clinic making sure they are all working properly.
• Prepare requests for the procurement of medicines and supplies for the clinic either from Purchasing or other Departments in which certain supplies are kept in stock.
• Keep the order and cleanliness of the clinic and its surroundings. Do cleaning of the clinic at least once daily.
• Record all medicine dispensations for guests and staff and to charge them accordingly.
• Replenish all First Aid kits for all outlets, departments and villas and charge them accordingly.
• Coordinate with other departments for other needs of the clinic.
• Accompany guest or staff patients during transport to Manila should the doctor not be available to do so.
• Help the doctor in the preparation and conduct of the Annual Physical Examination, Annual Dental Examination and other Clinic-sponsored activities.
• Contact other departments regarding patient consultation schedules and tests.
• Perform general office duties such as answering telephones, taking messages and completing certain forms.
• Monitor follow-up consultations and provide reminders to patients concerned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered Nurse (PRC).
• With at least two (2) to three (3) years experience in the same capacity.
• Experience in hospitality or luxury setting.
