\xe2\x80\x9cIt all started with one fish\xe2\x80\x9d, as founder David Lee says. Particularly a barramundi in his Honda Civic about 20 or so years ago.

Starting as a seafood wholesaler, Mr Lee drove from client to client in search of buyers. After many barramundis and even more car fresheners, Greenwood Fish Market began in 2003.

Now a family-run seafood restaurant and fish market, we specialise in cold water seafood with a range that\xe2\x80\x99s a tad different from the local scene, mostly with a supply chain built on from friends-turned-suppliers.

If you\'re passionate about good seafood, good drinks and good jokes, we hope to see you reel soon. We\xe2\x80\x99re a crazy bunch of fishermen \xe2\x80\x93 nothing excites us more than sharing our love for the sea.



Restaurant Receptionist [Attractive Incentives @Sentosa]

What we can offer

• 5 day work week [3 days from 12-8pm. 2 days split to conduct on the job training]
• Incentive scheme 4%, 8%, 12% monthly based on sales target

We seek a friendly and professional Hostess to join the team at Greenwood Fish Market, a seafood restaurant located in the vibrant Quayside Isle in Sentosa. As a Hostess, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and warm environment for our guests, ensuring they have an unforgettable dining experience at our Quayside Isle location in Sentosa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests as they arrive at the restaurant and seating them at their table
• Managing the restaurant\'s reservation system and taking phone calls to book tables
• Ensuring that the dining room is clean and well-presented at all times, with all tables set and ready for guests
• Managing the flow of guests in and out of the restaurant, ensuring that waitstaff can provide efficient service
• Assisting with the management of the restaurant\'s waitlist, communicating wait times to guests
• Assisting with general restaurant operations as needed, including bussing tables and assisting with cleaning and sanitising

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience as a Hostess or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide warm and friendly service to guests
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail
• A friendly and professional demeanour, with the ability to remain calm and composed in a busy restaurant environment
• Basic computer skills, with experience using reservation systems and basic Microsoft Office programs
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings in Quayside Isle, Sentosa
