Job Description

The Insurance Services Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of insurance operations, including corporate, employee, and project-related insurance matters. The role involves coordinating with insurance providers, ensuring timely renewals, managing claims, and maintaining compliance with statutory and contractual insurance requirements. The manager ensures that the company's assets, employees, and operations are adequately protected through proper insurance coverage and risk management practices.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Oversee all insurance-related activities for the company, including employee, vehicle, asset, and project insurance policies. Liaise with insurers, brokers, and financial institutions to negotiate policy terms, coverage, and premiums. Manage insurance renewals, additions, and deletions to ensure continuous and adequate coverage. Review contract and tender documents to identify insurance requirements and ensure compliance. Administer employee medical and work injury compensation (WICA) insurance policies. Process and monitor insurance claims, ensuring timely documentation and resolution. Maintain accurate records of all insurance policies, renewals, and claims. Prepare insurance reports, cost summaries, and budget forecasts for management. Support project teams by ensuring compliance with client and statutory insurance requirements. Advise management on risk exposure and recommend appropriate insurance coverage. Coordinate with HR and Finance departments for premium payments, claim settlements, and staff coverage updates. Ensure compliance with

insurance regulations. Review and implement policies to improve risk management and reduce operational exposure.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:



Degree or Diploma

in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum

5-8 years of relevant experience

in insurance administration or risk management (corporate or construction industry preferred). Strong knowledge of corporate insurance products including

WICA

Public Liability

Workmen Compensation

Fire & Theft

Vehicle

Professional Indemnity

. Experience in dealing with insurance brokers and claims management. Good understanding of regulatory frameworks and statutory requirements in Singapore. Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills. Proficient in

Microsoft Office

and insurance administration systems. Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Possession of

Certificate in General Insurance (CGI)

or

Diploma in Insurance (SCI)

is an advantage. Class 3 Driving Licence (optional but preferred).

WORKING CONDITIONS:



Full-time, office-based position. Working hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday). Work location: Corporate office (with occasional site visits if required). * May involve coordination meetings with insurers or clients after office hours when necessary.
