About us

uMart is a store designed with our customers' convenience as our core focus. We differentiate ourselves from our peers by offering desirable but not commonly available products. We aim to provide quality products at affordable prices, and a modern and comfortable shopping environment.





We started operations in Nov 2020 and turned profitable after four months. We currently operate four outlets in Balestier, Boat Quay, Katong and Sims Drive. We are looking for good people to help us grow our business.

About the role

Responsibilities

Help customers check out their purchases Attend to customers' enquiries Fulfil orders from online delivery platforms Replenish display shelves Maintain stock in the storeroom Receive and account for deliveries from suppliers and warehouse Maintain cleanliness within store premises Monitor expiry dates of products

Candidate requirements

1) Need to be 21 or older (by law in order to handle tobacco)


2) Humble and willing to adapt to a new culture


3) Physically able - work will involve carrying heavy products


4) Has a personality that sparks joy to co-workers
