The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail and Education Manager, Travel Retail APAC to build and strengthen our retail training team to support the business ambition.The Retail and Education Manager with the support of team members, will be responsible for the planning and execution of the training strategies and plans of Paco Rabanne, Carolina Herrara, Jean Paul Gautier fragrance, Penhaligon\xe2\x80\x99s, L\xe2\x80\x99Artisan Parfumeur and license brand Christian Louboutin Beauty for Travel Retail Asia Pacific, with the key focus in Greater China for a start. Key deliverables include but not limited to retail experience enhancement and the skills and knowledge of our brand representatives. This role will work closely with cross functional teams within the business unit, as well as external business partners and clients to accomplish the strategic and financial goals of the business. This role will report to the General Manager, Travel Retail APAC. What you\xc2\xb4ll get to do: Training Strategies

  • Define the retail and education vision, strategy and plan that are aligned with the business goals and strategies of TRAPAC
  • Formulate the training modules of the niche portfolio relevant for travel retail and Chinese travelers by close collaboration with Marketing, Commercial and HQ training team
  • Plan and manage annual training budget based on the needs of omni channel and multi brands
Training Design and Deliverables
  • Managing the creation and localization of training contents and methodology of niche brands to ensure all training initiatives is fully fulfilling business needs in a most effective and efficient manner
  • Conduct professional training to Travel Retail brand representatives & Generic staff, including training on brand concept, product knowledge, customer service and selling techniques
  • Building up the training decks based on the traveler profile (Chinese/multi-national) and shopping environment (downtown/airport), catering to the needs of business development and sales achievements
  • Liaise with retailers on training logistics, organize training notes, venues, decoration, food, training gifts etc.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to trainers and brand ambassadors when the need arises
  • Conduct TTT to enhance trainers\xe2\x80\x99 skills and learners\xe2\x80\x99 experience
  • Develop in-store consultation tools and service protocols
  • Develop brand dedicated livestream team to drive the TR online business and improve the omni channel experience by working with retailers, commercial and digital team
Training Deliverables Management and Evaluation
  • Provide post training evaluation for review with marketing and commercial teams to determine if short terms adjustments/ rectifications are required
  • Measure and fine-tune training outcome on regular basis to assess if business objectives are met
  • Launch of My Mystery Shopper (MSP) program in TRAPAC by collaborating with commercial team
Brand Representatives Performance Management
  • Maintain BR database and manage Puig TRAPAC BR community
  • Develop and ensure the grooming standards by brand, coordination in BR Uniform
  • Support BR recruitment
  • Lead in the planning and execution of BR seminar and annual meeting
  • Build up the BR Performance review system, provide timely coaching and KPI monitoring of BR by working closely with commercial team and retailers
We\xc2\xb4d love to meet you if you have:
  • 10 years of professional training experience, coming from beauty or luxury industry
  • Relevant university degree and/or professional training credentials
  • Able to communicate, train and facilitate workshops in English and Mandarin as this role will have responsibilities covering China market
  • Familiar with Chinese digital and EC ecosystem will be valuable plus
  • At least 5 years experience in Team management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Passionate about luxury fashion/beauty
  • Strong project management skills, to manage complexity of multiple stakeholders and resources
  • Excellent facilitation and training administration skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Self-starter, independent, result oriented and resourceful
  • Agile and resilient to changes and tight timelines
  • Curiosity to learn with a positive learning and team player mindset
  • Ability to travel within the regions, approximately 50% of the time
