Retail Manager - Art Exhibition

Fever is looking for a Retail Manager for Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience Singapore.

VAN GOGH: THE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

A light and sound spectacular featuring Vincent Van Gogh\'s most compelling works. Guests encounter the brilliance of one of history\'s greatest artists in 360 degrees. In addition to a spacious central area where Van Gogh\'s works stretch floor-to-ceiling, the experience includes separate galleries that chronicle his life, technique, and influence through informative panels, larger than life re-creations and engaging interactives; suitable for a wide audience, including families, school groups, couples, and seniors.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for providing a first-class experience for our visitors with exceptional customer service in the Merchandise area, stock management and control, and maintaining a clean and comfortable selling environment. Includes weekend and evening shifts.

Responsibilities to include the following:

• Shop management
• Maximizing turnover of the merchandise store
• Merchandise stock control, including weekly stock takes
• Regular reporting to the Exhibition Management Team
• Shift Supervisor duties
• Staff supervision in the shop area
• Cash handling with accuracy and consistency
• To follow all procedures for promotional activities
• Answering visitor queries and/or complaints
• Any other duties which enhance the visitor\'s experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• The ability to read, speak and effectively understand the English language
• Be available to work flexible hours at nights and on weekends
• Must possess above average communication skills
• Safety conscious
• Outgoing and friendly
• Willing to actively engage guests
• Ability to learn and understand Van Gogh\'s works and his history in order to be able to answer general customer queries
• Commitment to providing the best in customer service
• Venue, leisure, or retail experience in a role of responsibility
• Stock management experience
• Cash handling experience
• A general knowledge and/or enthusiasm for the arts
• A flexible, positive and proactive attitude

Salary:

Dependent on retail and management experience.

This role is a full-time contract position, and will end in September 2023.
