Retail Manager

As the

Retail Manager

, you will oversee daily retail operations, lead and motivate the store team, and ensure an exceptional in-store experience for every customer. You'll also play an active role in driving sales performance, maintaining operational efficiency, and generating actionable reports for management.

This role is ideal for someone who's organized, data-driven, and enjoys combining hands-on retail work with leadership and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Team Management

Supervise, train, and motivate retail assistants to achieve store goals. Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and upholding brand values. Create and maintain staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.

2. Sales & Performance Management

Drive store sales and develop strategies to increase revenue and footfall. Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and report findings to management. Identify opportunities to improve product performance, customer satisfaction, and conversion rates.

3. Operations & Reporting

Oversee all retail operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and POS accuracy. Maintain and update sales reports, stock movement summaries, and performance dashboards. Coordinate with the HQ team to ensure sales data is accurate and aligned with company targets.

4. Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation

Ensure the store layout and visual merchandising reflect brand identity and product seasonality. Work with the marketing and merchandising teams to plan product displays and promotions.

5. Customer Experience

Build strong relationships with customers and ensure a welcoming and engaging shopping environment. Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and care.

Requirements

Prior experience in retail management or supervisory roles. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Proficient in using POS systems, Excel/Google Sheets, and sales reporting tools. Passionate about sustainability, fashion, and community engagement. Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Working Hours

A single shift would be 8 hours + 1 hr lunch break between 10 PM - 10 PM
