An exciting Retail Marketing Manager job opportunity has just become available at a leading premium consumer goods company. Based in Singapore and reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for all retail marketing initiatives for Singapore and support the marketing team in developing retail activations and retail marketing initiatives that are in line with the brand\'s premium positioning. About the Retail Marketing Manager Role:
In this business critical role, you will drive retail marketing efforts through developing effective animations (POSM, in-store visuals) to elevate customer experience at each touchpoint when they are in-store. The role involves end-to-end responsibilities from conceptualisation, planning, to execution and post-activation evaluation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop meaningful activities, programming, partnership, events to drive traffic and consumer engagement for the boutique
  • Manage retail and trade visibility for new product launch: lead and brief the commercial and retail teams on an integrated visibility strategy
  • Project manage any in-store renovations, working with the regional team to find innovative new ways to improve the existing retail experience and design concept elements
  • Work with the regional brand team members to establish a strong cohesive brand that is established across all aspects of marketing ensuring synergy and alignment for the boutique
  • Support retail experience activities: design and production of POSMs through global and/or regional development
  • Monitor the design and quality of the merchandising to ensure best-in-class execution
  • Liaise with the digital marketing team to apply digital/social media capabilities and amplification for the boutique
  • Monitor key retail KPIs such as sales turnover, traffic, average transaction value, and provide a monthly scorecard
  • Support in post product launch activation analysis, generate internal stakeholders and consumer feedback to identify areas for improvement or best practice implementation and sharing
  • Collaborate and provide guidance to the commercial team to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and strategies in the on/off trade and support the deployment of marketing tools e.g. brand guidelines, product sell sheets, collaterals, brand videos, brand experience booklet, POSMs, GWPs
  • Oversee all POSMs/gifts and manage order tracking with other markets in the region and follow up to ensure order accuracy versus usage to minimise risk of obsolete items
  • Track POSMs shipment and budget and maintain updated information
  • Assist in monitoring of A&P expenses, analysis and updating monthly scorecards to the management
To be successful in this Retail Marketing Manager role, you will need to possess past experience in retail marketing for a premium brand. Key Requirements:
  • At least a degree in marketing or business
  • Minimum of seven years of retail/trade marketing experience in the luxury/beauty/spirit industry
  • Experienced in agency management including event, design and project agencies
  • Strong understanding of retail, shopper journey and consumer experience
  • Strong presentation skills with good knowledge in PowerPoint, Photoshop or Illustrator
  • Well-organised, detail-minded and able to multitask
  • A team player with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Self-learning mindset with a positive work attitude
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) as the candidate is required to work with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
