Job Title: Retail Operations Manager

Sales and Marketing Manager, SEA & Oceania

Requirements



language ? Can speak Mandarin & English

Minimum 5 years of retail experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and coach a team.

Proven sales and customer service expertise in a premium or lifestyle retail environment.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities



Store Operations & Sales Performance



Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the sales floor, cash wrap, and back-of-house areas.

Drive store revenue and profitability by delivering exceptional customer experiences and executing effective sales strategies.

Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs as defined by the Sales and Marketing Manager.

Prepare accurate reports reflecting store activities, sales performance, and operational updates.

Customer Experience



Serve as the first point of contact for customers, creating a welcoming and engaging shopping environment.

Demonstrate strong salesmanship, including proactive guest engagement, needs assessment, product recommendations, and closing sales.

Maintain and manage customer relationships in line with brand policy to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.

Team Leadership & Training



Supervise and support retail team members, ensuring operational standards and sales excellence are consistently met.

Train team members on product knowledge, customer service, POS operation, and inventory management.

Prepare and manage monthly staff rosters in alignment with the approved budget.

Merchandising & Inventory Management



Participate in merchandise ordering, processing, and replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels.

Ensure visual merchandising standards are upheld according to brand guidelines and planograms.

Monitor product performance and provide feedback to relevant teams for continuous improvement.

Compliance & Administration



Ensure full compliance with operational standards, including maintenance, sanitation, and safety regulations.

Maintain accurate POS operations and cash handling with high levels of accuracy.

Build and sustain strong relationships with mall management and relevant partners to support smooth operations.

Additional Responsibilities



Assist in managing B2C and wholesale retailer counters, including sales promotion activities.

Support the Sales and Marketing Manager in ad-hoc projects and initiatives related to Moleskine's retail business in Singapore.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month

Experience:

Retail sales: 5 years (Preferred) supervisory or managerial in retail: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:

Mandarin and English language skills (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
