The ideal candidate will possess excellent influencing skills and have demonstrable experience in realising and driving forward a cohesive approach to a global programme of work (based client side), with the ability to flex the approach to suit the nature of the transformation. You will be working with a team to support the real estate transformation of a client\'s corporate real estate portfolio with the following responsibilities:

  • Experience of successfully leading multi-regional governance and assurance programmes and stakeholders, delivering coherent, workable and effective solutions. (An understanding of retail banking transformation is preferable, not essential)
  • Be a highly effective and experienced communicator capable of leading a Global PMO remit.
  • Person will need to be based in Singapore or in the same time zone.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership
  • Programme leadership experience is essential (leading at least 2 major regions globally - AME & Asia is preferable) to drive efficiencies and optimization through consistency
  • Form strategic alliances within the supply chain partners to drive connected ecosystems.
Governance & Assurance
  • Lead the current Retail Bank Transformation Global PMO strategic PMO activities and the implementation and operationalisation of the governing assurance framework, cadence and procedures to embed the newly setup PMO.
  • Act as the key point of contact, leading and coordinating the GPMO, managing stakeholders and acting as \xe2\x80\x9cRetail PMO lead\xe2\x80\x9d for the GPMO.
  • Act as a pivotal integrator, aligning client side SME\'s & regional programme leads (external bank supplier delivery partners), to support alignment and connected ways of working to deliver the programme of activities.
Reporting:
  • Work with key regional stakeholders to manage reporting oversight on the execution of the retail programme progress and implementation against schedule and cost baselines.
  • Lead on developing key outputs (PowerPoint & Excel) and have the ability to \'tell a story.\'
  • Support digital portfolio/programme dashboard development (an understanding of digital reporting outputs is useful, but not essential).
Team Management:
  • Lead and coordinate the GPMO team to ensure timely delivery of tactical implementation of process, procedures and outputs including oversight of the PMO reporting activities.
  • Act as a first point of escalation, reporting into the Global Head of PMO.

  • Able to build trust very quickly and win the support of the team recognizing the political landscape
  • Must be comfortable in ambiguous, uncertain and complex environments where the solution is yet to be fully defined and it is necessary to align complex stakeholder needs with limited data/information.
  • Must be able to handle multiple competing tasks and effectively be able to prioritise most important and most urgent.
  • Ability to analyse data quickly, identify pain points and embed interventions/process improvements.
  • Able to communicate and present to senior banking stakeholders
  • Person must be a \'doer\' to earn the respect of the stakeholders - take action to ensure consistent application.
